Networking event: KIT’s IStO & MSc RSGI & MSc WS&E
“During studying and in a new country, challenges await for you”, therefore a resilient design of life can support you in staying motivated and satisfied. In this context, continuous networking is highly recommended.
Therefore, on July 1st 2025, students of the new intakes (summer term 2025, winter term 2024/5) of the two English speaking M.Sc. degree programs "Remote Sensing and Geoinformatics" and "Water Science and Engineering" were invited to KIT’s International Students Office (IStO): Welcome and Integration.
In a packed 90-minute session, a wide range of activities (e.g., information on onboarding, buddy program, networking, games) took place. In addition, Dr. Fadwa Alshawaf – a former PhD student of KIT – presented her perspectives on the challenges, she faced during onboarding to KIT and living in Germany. In a very personal talk, she motivated students to find well-designed individual solutions.
